Witam,

 

Probuje zainstalowac MBAMa na maszynie testowej (AD + SQL 2008 R2 + Web Server), czyli wg scenariusza testowego MS. Podczas instalacji pojawia mi sie blad, ktory zapisalem w logu:
CheckForPrerequisites CA Exception in detecting SQL properties: A network-related or instance-specific error occurred while establishing a connection to SQL Server. The server was not found or was not accessible. Verify that the instance name is correct and that SQL Server is configured to allow remote connections. (provider: SQL Network Interfaces, error: 26 - Error Locating Server/Instance Specified)

Na stronie SQL Network Interfaces, error: 26 - Error Locating Server/Instance Specified nie znalazlem rozwiazania. SQL Browser service dziala, a Firewalla wylaczylem.

SQL nie moze byc na tym samym serwerze co AD.

Zainstalowalem 2 nowe serwery. Przy probie instalacji MBAMa na czystym SQLu, error 26 zniknal.

Zaloguj się na serwer i sprawdź we właściwościach serwera czy na zakładce Connections jest zaznaczona opcja allow remote connections to this server.

1 - Ta opcja jest i byla zaznaczona

2 - Zrestartowalem uslugi SQLa -> nie pomoglo

3 - Zrestartowalem caly system -> nie pomoglo

Wygląda jakby nie widział tego serwera, jesteś pewien że podajesz taki sam "Server name" jak przy logowaniu w SSMS?

Tak, a teraz cos smiesznego... Po ponownym uruchomieniu komputera, a pozniej instalatora MBAMa, zobaczylem ten sam blad "26 - Error Locating Server Instance Specified", ale w oknie instalatora pojawilo sie cos takiego:
MBAM Setup Fails with SQL Error: Error obtaining a certificate protected by the master key
Resolution: A master key password is needed for the setup to complete the Transparent data encryption (TDE) in the SQL Server database. Please create a master key encryption and provide a secure password for it.

Rozwiazanie znalazlem tutaj. Instalator wykryl pozniej server SQL.

Instalator wykryl SQLa, moglem wybrac instancje "BitLockerDB" dla "Recovery & Hardware database", "Compliance and Audit database" oray "Compliance and Audit raports", ale mimo wszystko na samym koncu (po rzekomym kopiowaniu plikow) pojawil sie blad, mowiacy o tym, zen ie mozna ukonczyc instalacji.

Przegladalem Stuck on MBAM installation:

1 - Zainstalowalem CA (oczywiscie na tej samej maszynie),

2 - Dla "network communications" wygenerowalem jeden certyfikat, ktory w instalatorze MBAMa moge wybrac

3 - W "Reporting Services Configuration Manager" widze swoja database

4 - W "Reporting Services Configuration Manager" mam dostep (po uwwierzytelnieniu) na "Web Service URL" oraz "Raport Manager URL" (loguje sie podajac dane admina domeny, strony sa jednak puste)

Podczas instalacji, po raz kolejny, 2 razy pojawia sie ten error 26...

FYI (dla potomnych)

Przy instalacji pojawily sie jeszcze inne problemy, ktore udalo mi sie rozwiazac:

1) Error: CheckForPrerequisites CA Exception: Invalid URI: The format of the URI could not be determined. Rozwiazanie

-------

2) Error: SQL Server Configuration Manager, Request failed or the service did not rspond in a timely fashion + EventID 107. Rozwiazanie

-------

3) Error: Service bei der Installation MSI (s) (44:34) [15:15:44:502]: Product: Microsoft BitLocker Administration and Monitoring -- Error 1920. Service 'SQL Server (MBAMDB)' (MSSQL$MBAMDB) failed to start. Verify that you have sufficient privileges to start system services.

Rozwiazanie: Serwisy startowane jako:

SQL Server - Administrator domeny (wiem, ze to jest blad, obecnie nad tym siedze...)
SQL Server Agent - "Local System"
SQL Server Reporting - "Network Service"
